The sixth and final installment of Sonic X, The Final Chapter has been officially cancelled by 20th Century Fox, and orders the upcoming Sonic X: The Black Knight to changed it's title from that to Sonic X: The Final Stand, because of it's series finale, this would even use to avoid the confusion of the game with the same title.
Fox is under command that they were legally set to let the fifth film to become "the end of story" and stands on for Sonic's biggest, epic and final adventure, and said the point that "Sonic X: The Final Chapter features that Sonic died".
While in production of sonic X: Return to Soleanna, it's next movie, The Black Knight, was confirmed to be made, with the previous titles of Sonic X: Black Doom's Return and Sonic X: The Brand New Future were on works, bit Fox ran out of plans of it and scrapped it out. However, on May 2010, it was reannounced to be released, having plans to add elements from Sonic: The Black Knight.
Sonic will be officially leaving the big screen when May 13, 2011 is dated by the time the movie was released in theaters, includin 3D and IMAX 3D, 2D theaters will include.
