iCarly: The Movie opens in theaters today and made a very big opening night last night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, iCarly: The Movie grossed an estimated $4 million last night in nearly 2,000 theaters across the country.

This record for the film based on the hit TV sitocom on Nickelodeon "iCarly", compared to be $2 million more than last year's "Hannah Montana: The Movie", starring Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles and Billy Ray Cyrus, which brought $2 million from it's midnight premiere bor biggest live-action G rated movie in midnight showings. It's opening gross is $32 million overall total of $79 million.

"iCarly: The Movie" opens in 3,725 theaters nationwide, the widest release of any G rated movie, live-action and animated films, and was expecting to gross $50 million through out Sunday at the box office, putting in the same length of the film's budget of $50 million.

"iCarly: The Movie" arrived today in theaters on Friday, July 30th, 2010, and stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor. Also, a brand new season for the TV show premieres tonight at 8:00 on Nickelodeon.
